Main Aircraft

G-FALP — “Ghost of Kemble”

Boeing 747-400ER · formerly of British Airways

A retired British Airways Queen of the Skies, borrowed (permanently, allegedly temporarily) from a museum.

2025

The Liberation

With no aircraft of their own for WorldFlight 2025, PSCC hired an elite team of penguin paramilitaries to acquire one -- the FLP (Fuerza Liberación los Pingüinos). Due to a minor clerical error, the contract instead went to FALP (Fuerza Aérea de Liberación de Pingüinos), the considerably less elite Penguin Liberation Air Force, consisting mainly of Air Marshal Sven and his closest buddies. Hiccups notwithstanding, FALP successfully liberated G-CIVB from her museum retirement in the Cotswolds, and with PSCC's help got the engines started and flew her out.

2025

The Chase Across Europe

The museum's security contractor, the Negus Guardians -- a firm that, unusually, employs only leopard seals -- gave chase across Europe. The crew spent an anxious few legs shaking their tail before finally losing the Guardians somewhere over the Alps.

2025

Refurbishment in Frankfurt

With the leopard seals off their scent, the crew brought the aircraft to our technic-al friends in Frankfurt, who refurbished her and upgraded her to a full 747-400ER -- plus, of course, a new coat of paint.

2025

WorldFlight 2025

Freshly refurbished, G-CIVB flew WorldFlight 2025 as PSCC's main aircraft.

2026

CONAIR Phreighter Duty

Through 2026, the aircraft has served CONAIR Cargo Airline in a Phreighter configuration, hauling cargo of — and for — penguins across CONAIR's network.

2026

A New Registration

Flying openly under CONAIR colours made the aircraft rather easier to spot than she'd have liked -- and before long, CONAIR found itself fielding some distinctly uncomfortable phone calls from the Negus Guardians. To keep the peace (and the leopard seals off the scent again), the aircraft was quietly re-registered from G-CIVB to G-FALP.

Summer 2026

WorldFlight 2026 Route-Proving

Already wearing her new WorldFlight 2026 colours, G-FALP spent the summer flying route-proving flights along the WorldFlight network while still pulling CONAIR Phreighter cargo duty -- turning up everywhere from Hargeisa to Lagos, Sal and Ushuaia.

2026

On Loan for WorldFlight 2026

CONAIR has generously agreed to lend the aircraft back to PSCC for WorldFlight 2026. Please return her in the condition she was liberated in.

Backup Aircraft

N744ST — “Spirit of Patagonia”

Boeing 747 Supertanker · formerly of Global SuperTanker Services

BBLP's aerial firefighting flagship (callsign SUPERTANK 944), on loan to Team PSCC as a backup should the main aircraft go missing again.

Ongoing

Firefighting Duty with BBLP

N744ST is BBLP's (Brigada de Bomberos Ala de Pingüino) primary firefighting tanker, flown by Nephew on missions across Patagonia. Off-season, the aircraft and crew travel the world wherever the fires need fighting.

2026

On Loan as Backup for WorldFlight 2026

For WorldFlight 2026, BBLP has kindly agreed to lend the Supertanker to Team PSCC as a backup aircraft -- just in case the main airframe's colorful history catches up with it again.
